1879 onwards specialised collection Postal Stationery (totally c. 460 items) collected used (including postmarks, destinations, mixed frankings etc.) and unused including postal cards (including prepaid reply), envelopes, registered envelopes, letter sheets (including registered and airmail), newspaper wrappers and cassette envelopes, with many better items (SPC5a unused, SPC29 unused, SEN8v and 8Ac unused, SEN8q used, SEN41 and 41a unused, SRE1 used, SRE4 used, SRE10 used) all neatly described, total cat. value Chalhoub $11.000 approx. in 5 binders
1890 onwards and some Sudan c. 330 covers and postal stationery mostly older material including better items, registered, paquebot, censor, airmail etc. in album and small box
Official 2m. green and 3m. orange-yellow on registered envelope - On His Highness's Service - from the Cairo City Police send locally (rate 3 mills and 5 mills for registration) on 2-6-1908, during a short period (up to 1-1-1909) all Official mail had to be franked with official stamps, a fine cover (some small pinholes righthand side of the envelope), a scarce cover
Official 5m. red-brown and 10m. rose-lake on envelope - On His Egyptian Majesty's Service - from the department of health in Cairo-Dawawin 22-9-25 send to the director of the - Service de santé - from the French Army in the Levant in Beyrouth, on reverse arrival postmarks Beyrouth 23-9 and Postes aux Armees 24-9, cover with typical minor creases due to the size and poor quality of the envelopes used, these stamps are very scarce on Offficial covers.
